The Il Gioiello Winery, located in the Sierra Foothills AVA, evokes a sense of Tuscany, Italy, with vineyards, undulating topography, the various winery buildings, an Olive Tree grove, and Italian landscaping. This 80 acre property lies between the nearby Shenandoah Valley AVA, Fairplay AVA, and Fiddletown AVA. The on-site residence is 1600 sqft, with tall ceilings, lots of natural light, high-end kitchen and finishes, and overlooks the olive tree grove and vineyards. The turnkey winemaking operations include a large covered crush pad with 2 crush machines and a history of performing custom crush for other vintners. The 1350 sqft covered fermentation tank area has the capacity to make 70 tons of wine. Adjacent to the wine utility building is a 60'x43' Barrel Storage building with 19' ceilings. The bottling and labeling area can handle about 60 cases per hour, and this area also has a large light patio to host special events, such as weddings. There is a 7,000 case finished wine storage building. Everyone's favorite area is the Tasting Room and Sales Building, which has bocce ball courts, a covered patio with outdoor fireplace, and picnic areas under a trellis. The most beautiful area of the property is an excellent location for a large Estate home, or a small county Inn, overlooking the vineyards, and with views to the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
